COLE SOFTWARE ANNOUNCES BETA TEST PROGRAM FOR z/XDC® z1.9

Improved REXX support, new LIST commands, support for new decimal floating point machine instructions, and recognition of all floating point formats
AFTON, Va. , April 19, 2007/ -- Cole Software LLC of Afton, VA is pleased to announce the availability of a beta test program of z/XDC z1.9 for existing customers.
This latest beta version of z/XDC includes the following new features:
- Entirely rewritten support for using REXX to create user written z/XDC commands.
- A new LIST PROFILES command that displays information about z/XDC-related session profiles is now available in accessible profile libraries.
- A new LIST ENQ command that displays information about system ENQs and about ENQ contention.
- A new LIST SSCT command that displays information about currently defined or active subsystems.
- The ability to recognize the new decimal floating point machine instructions.
- The ability to display floating point registers and data in hexadecimal-, decimal-, and/or binary-floating point formats.
- Improved displays in the READ command’s output.
- Licensing process support for more than 30 CPUs and/or SYSPLEXs.
- Numerous bug fixes (including all bugs reported and fixed in maintenance).
