COLE SOFTWARE ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF z/XDC^® z1.3

Latest version of Assembler debugger fully supports Program Objects

AFTON, Va. , March 25, 2004/ -- The beta version of z/XDC z1.3 is now available!

Cole Software LLC of Afton VA is pleased to announce the availability of a beta test program for release z1.3 of z/XDC. Existing z/XDC customers who wish to participate may do so simply by sending a request to dbcole@colesoft.com.

The z1.3 release of z/XDC features comprehensive support for loading and using Binder maps for all program objects regardless of the object's degree of complexity. All loadable classes, both deferred and otherwise, are now fully understood by z/XDC and properly handled.

"The complexity of program objects has increased significantly in recent years," said David Cole, architect and lead developer of z/XDC. "This support perfects z/XDC's understanding of how loadable classes are organized within program objects." Support for program objects paves the way for Cole Software's eventual support of DLLs and IBM's C compiler.

David expects the final version of z/XDC z1.3 to be generally available late in April.

z/XDC z1.3 is the latest release in a long line of comprehensive debugging tools developed by David Cole starting in 1978. z/XDC z1.3 is designed for programmers who work in the most demanding z/OS (and OS/390) environments. z/XDC dramatically reduces the amount of time programmers spend finding and fixing bugs in low-level object code, no matter how complex.
